LONDON, Nov. 24, 2015–Equestrian extravaganzas at historic Windsor Castle will be featured in celebrating the 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth over four night next May 12-15 with 25,000 tickets going on sale Tuesday, Nov. 24.

The 25,000 tickets on sale at 9 am (10:00 Central European/4 am US Eastern) Tuesday are for seats in the arena over the four days. An additional 5,000 free tickets for the final Sunday night which will be attended by the Queen will be released early next year by a ballot system.

On all four nights more than 900 horses and 1,500 participants from around the world will descend on the private grounds of Home Park Private, Windsor Castle to celebrate the Queen’s life from birth in 1926, through World War Two, the coronation in 1953 and a reign spanning more than 60 years.

International acts and British icons already confirmed include the Oman Royal Cavalry, Chilean Huasos, New Zealand Army Band, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Azerbaijan Cossack Riders, State Carriages from The Royal Mews, South Australian Police Band, the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery, Fijian Army Dancers and Band, 100 military and Commonwealth pipers and the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment as well as references to the Queen’s horses and ponies, dogs and even racing pigeons.

The celebration of which equestrian show organizer Simon Brooks-Ward is producer and director, is a not-for-profit event and aims to create a significant surplus that will be donated to charities of which the Queen is patron. The charities are not yet determined but are likely to come from the Commonwealth, equine and animal sectors.

The Sunday night celebration will be broadcast live for two hours on ITV in Britain.
