ORANGE, Australia, Feb. 20, 2015–Mary Hanna, a four-time Olympian for Australia, posted a lifetime best Grand Prix score of 72.521 per cent when she won the Dressage With Altitude event Friday aboard Umbro.

Mary and the 14-year-old KWPN gelding placed first ahead of 2014 World Games team mates Maree Tomkinson on Diamantina on 69.940 per cent and Sue Hearn on Remmington on 67.980 per cent for third.

Eddy de Wolff of the Netherlands and Susan Hoevenaars both awarded her scores above 73 per cent for the ride at the show that has become one of the most popular Down Under though it is 160 miles (255km) west of Sydney.

A review of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) records for the 60-year-old rider show that her previous best international Grand Prix score was 71.280 per cent on Sancette at Deauville, France last July.

Mary and Umbro won the Pacific League Final last month for the rider to earn a start at the World Cup Final in Las Vegaes in mid-April.
