KAPOSVAR, Hungary, Oct. 11, 2014–Germany’s Jessica von Bredow-Werndl on Unee BB won the Grand Prix for the World Cup Freestyle Saturday and took the Grand Prix for the Special in their first international Grand Prix,

Jessica, a reserve on Unee for Germany’s World Equestrian Games team at Normandy, notched the victory in the Grand Prix for the Freestyle, the last of seven qualifiers in the Central European League for the World Cup Final in Las Vegas next April.

The Freestyle that will determine the CEL final standings from which two combinations will qualify for a Las Vegas start is scheduled for Sunday.

Jessica and Zaire, a 10-year-old KWPN mare that she competed at small tour as recently as June, scored 70.260 per cent for the win in the Grand Prix for the Special. Austria’s Ulrike Prunthaller on Bartlgut’s Limotas was second on 66.520 per cent with Poland’s Mateusz Cichon on Sini Santos RF was third on 62.100 per cent.
