WELLINGTON, Florida, Feb. 20, 2014–Only one team from a single nation will be awarded medals at the Wellington Nations Cup competition using an unique mixed Big and Small Tour format that will be decided Thursday.

Organizers of the event clarified the awards after first advising that the medals wuld be awarded by the order of finish but that points in the global Nations Cup series of six competitions would be awarded only to the team nominated in advance.

The United States and Canada each have two teams and in the first two years of the Wellington Nations Cup that was not part f the global series medals were awarded based on the finishing order.

The competition is over two days and includes both Prix St. Georges/Intermediate 1 and Grand Prix/Grand Prix Special combinations.

After the first day of competition, the standings were 1. USA 1, 2. Spain, 3. Canada 1.
