VIDAUBAN, France, Mar. 8–Sweden’s Jeanna Högberg rode her Liza Minelli to their first victory outside Scandinavia when they won the Grand Prix for the Freestyle at the Vidauban Spring Tour CDI3* Friday.
Jeanna and the 15-year-old Swedish Warmblood gelding (Cortez x Judy Garland x Ganesco) scored 68.787 per cent for a slight edge over fellow Swede Mads Hendeliowitz and Weihenstephaner on 68.681 per cent and Great Britain’s Carl Hester and Fine Time 13 in third place on 67.745 per cent.
Jeanna finished fourth behind Carl and Fine Time in the first week of the Vidauban Spring Tour. Prior to Friday, her only victory in three years of competing Liza Minelli at Grand Prix was at Helsinki last October.
