LISBON, Sept. 9–The first international dressage forum for purebred Lusitanos will be held Oct. 30-Nov. 1 with top riders, trainers and equestrian experts from around the world participating.

The forum has been organized by the Portugal Dressage Academia and Lusófona University (the
leading educational group in Portugal). It is the first forum with APSL recognition to integrate the most advanced scientific, technical and practical knowledge.

The aim is to promote experiences through the participation of the best international scientists, dressage judges, trainers, Olympic and world class competition riders contributing to a better knowledge of the Lusitano.

The forum is being organized to cover four subject areas: breeding, riding and training, competing
and marketing and business opportunities, with theory and practical sessions.

Among the speakers are Finland’s Kyra Kyrklund, one of the top riders and trainers in the world, Australian Olympian Hayley Beresford, Dr. Ulf Möller of Germany’s Performance Sales International and a leading young horse trainer and rider, and equine researcher Dr. Hilary Clayton of the United States.
